Finding a hike on Komoot for our region was quite difficult, as there are hardly any, or you have to drive for hours. But I did find a nice tour, just 30 km from Bosa, in an area of volcanic origin. It is a really beautiful, very wild landscape.

Usually this circular hike leads through the forests of the Montiferru region near Santu Lussurgiu and offers breathtaking views. The views are still there, but the forests have burned down. From the end of July, several forest fires raged in western Sardinia and also caused enormous damage in this region.

It was OK, but most of the time you walk through an area that has been burned down. It's interesting to see how nature recovers. But the path is not good in large parts either, a lot of it is gravel. Nice view, but that doesn't make everything better. I probably wouldn't do it again!
