A superb cycle path along a former railway line, an absolute experience. From Tarvisio onward, it gets even better. More info: alpe-adria-radweg.com/mobile/de

Very nice cycle path near Tarvisio, old railway line, now Alpe-Adria cycle path.
A perfect path, most beautifully in the direction of Tarvisio, Pontebba and almost as far as Venzone.

After yesterday's trial tour, we want to do something proper today! From the pre-made routes, we therefore choose a circuit around the Cima de Cacciatore on the Italian side.

First we go along the Alpe-Adria cycle path (on the former railway line) to Tarvisio, where there is a lot of bicycle traffic, even if it looks different in the pictures.
