Parish Church of St. Agnes

Highlight • Religious Site

A parish was mentioned in a document in 1283, and in 1384 the parish went to the diocese of Passau. In 1419 the church was named Our Lady Church. After 1600 the parish was assigned to the parish of Stiefern. In 1687 the church received the patronage of St. Agnes. In 1741 the church was raised again to the status of a parish church.

The Gothic church - Romanesque in its core - has a partly Baroque nave, the tower is medieval, the chapel extension is late Gothic.
