August 23, 2025,Waulsort Dam and Footbridge – Les Cascatelles Trail loop from Hastière-par-delà

Signs at Blaimont to turn off main road into thick downhill bramble - so its impassable as too overgrown!!Recommend using the same path up and down to the Meuse- dont bother doing the loop! Otherwise beautiful hike with some steep elevation.

After a rain shower very muddy and slippery, many blackberry bushes. A small section along the road feels very unsafe. Beautiful surroundings
