Woodland Track in Wye Valley National Landscape

Highlight (Segment) • Forest

A great section of track, but probably easier heading southwards. There is a climb at the northern end, whilst the southern end climbing is done on tarmac before the track begins.

Very pretty woodland along the Wye, between Tintern and Monmouth. Ways partly narrow and steep. We often pushed our bikes and only realized at the exit that cycling was not allowed. A continuous cycle path along the Wye would be a real recommendation! The federal road as an alternative is acceptable when traffic is light.
