Never, NEVER go hiking on the Kühkopf in June! Despite a whole bottle of Autan, we cut the planned tour short so that we wouldn't be completely eaten by mosquitoes. What a shame about the beautiful landscape. Deer, storks, woodpeckers, lizards everywhere... Afterwards, we sat comfortably and mosquito-free in the farm.
