Leckbartsheisje on the Rhine Terrace Trail

The Guntersblume initiative "Robin" planned and built this picturesque vineyard cottage, which is called "Leckbart-Haisje". The name is derived from the former district name, with the term "Leckbart" being a designation for a gourmet.
Today, the RheinTerrassenWeg and the Lutherweg lead right past it. This idyllic rest area offers a wonderful view over the Rhine Valley to Frankfurt, over the Odenwald with the Melibokus and to Ludwigshafen/Mannheim.

Kellerweg Guntersblum

The Guntersblumer Kellerweg was built around 1600, when the winegrowers were forced by the flood of the Rhine to build the wine cellars in the higher elevations. Little by little, about 100 wine cellars were created over a length of almost 1 km. Some of the historic buildings are still used as wine cellars and other building structures were used as a foundation for beautiful residential buildings (including wine hotel and museum). Since 1964, the famous Kellerwegfest takes place there (in the last two weekends in August).
