Unfortunately we were completely surprised by the number of "field collectors" so that we had no chance of getting strawberries before the field closed!

Nevertheless it was a lovely leisurely bike tour with almost constant sunny weather.

The tour led via Rabenstein Carolabad to Grüna, Wüstenbrand and further in the direction of Mittelbach, Ursprung and Lugau on the Kohlebahnradweg.
As always, the 2 snack bike parking areas were very well filled, so waiting times arose, especially at the old brickworks.
A worthwhile tour in mild weather!

In beautiful weather, not too warm, we rode the coal railway cycle path to Niederwürschnitz, via Mittelbach to the old brickworks snack bar!

We burst into the middle of the preparations for the 825th anniversary and 100th town charter of Lugau.

Interesting models and dolls lined the cycle path on the occasion of the celebration.

Unfortunately, nothing has changed on the Coal Cycle Path yet. From Wüstenbrand to Grüna, you only have the choice between a busy road and a bumpy dirt track.
