Today's hike was less demanding, leading from Tambach along the Dinosaur Adventure Trail to Georgenthal. Highly recommended, especially with children, as the dinosaurs are life-size replicas and there are clear explanations of the species, habitat, and time period. In Georgenthal, you can relax in the spa gardens, visit an ice cream parlor, or visit the monastery ruins.

Were on the dinosaur trail today with 3 generations. Since the restaurants along the way are closed, we always had a picnic along the way. There was ice cream at the "Penguin" in Tambach-Dietharz. The rain spared us and waited until we drove home again in the car! :)
