We took the delayed train to Bamberg and then rode our racing bikes back to Kulmbach. The highlight was the ice cream in Zapfendorf, and the downside was the road closure between Schwürbitz and Hochstadt am Main. The detour for cyclists was well signposted, but riding a racing bike on a gravel road is no fun!
