I set off in the sunshine, after a short stretch of road, onto the sand again, and then along the coast. Some paths and streets were flooded. This time, I took off my shoes, as they were ankle-deep. I walked through the village and then up to the lookout point. I arrived in Arifana before the heavy rain.
