This winter hike, recommended by the Lechtal Tourism Association, runs parallel to the classic trail on solid old snow. As cross-country skiers, we were extremely careful not to damage the track. Hiking on snow is quite exhausting in the long run. Perhaps snowshoes would have been a better choice here and now? Or cross-country skis.
