Basically, it's more of a walk than a hike, but that doesn't detract from it. Through the meadows along the dam along the lake and let the 🌞 get you in the mood for spring. Little break at the snack 🍺🌭 at the ferry and back to the parking lot at the swimming pool.

I saw and heard lots of woodpeckers at the duck pond, including a black woodpecker. I definitely have to go back there soon with my telephoto lens. Attention, attention!!!! The restaurant in the Nature Friends' boathouse will be reopening at the weekend.

It was wonderful to be outside again after all that rain. The small path between the dam path and the Rhine was unfortunately flooded, but other paths could be negotiated with shoes off and lots of laughter.
