The hike to the beautiful Zwiefelersee is really nice. At the beginning we accidentally took a shortcut that was quite steep. The middle part of the hike was relatively flat, then the last section before reaching the lake got steep again. But the view was really amazing.

From the Sölkpass Zwieflersee parking lot, we hiked up to the Lower Zwieflersee. About two-thirds of the hike is through the forest and steep. The Lower Zwieflersee is situated in a very idyllic setting. We spent some time here and then hiked back down. A very beautiful hike.
