Today I tried an official MTB route of the Mürz Valley bike region bikeregion-muerztal.at/touren.
Scenic top - route technically .... well ....
The first 9 km from Mürzsteg to Frein are to be covered on the B23 (Lahnsattel Bundesstraße). The only highlight is the "bypass" at the Dead Woman tunnel with the waterfall of the same name.
