Rock breakthrough / tunnel from WWII. On the right side of the river, a path went up to the rock. Nice view, but be careful: there are no more railings!

Bubbling Spring on the Ohe River

Highlight • Natural Monument

I had never seen such a spring that literally bubbles out of the ground. It seems as if the surrounding water collects in an underground channel that ends right here and pushes the water upwards almost like a fountain.

July 2, 2023,Wanderung an den Reschbach und Sausbach
A hike accompanied by rushing water in an untouched, beautiful natural landscape to the Carbitwerk. In one section you have to overcome rocks about 50 cm in size.

At the end of our "woid days" a short hike in the Buchbergerleite. We started at the large hiking car park in Ringelai. The path led us on the right side of the stream up the valley to the rock breakthrough at the former Carbit plant. We went back the same way to the suspension bridge. There we crossed the …

Our hike today was beautiful.

The Buchberger Leite is one of the most beautiful gorge landscapes in the Bavarian Forest.
Our path led along the torrent, past imposing stone formations and gorges rich in moss and ferns.

Here the Reschbach meets the Saußbach and together with it forms the Wolfsteiner Ohe.
The water looks fantastic - very dark and boggy.

For the journey to Wegscheid, we, the six Hopfenbrüder 😀, chose a short hike along the Buchberger Leite stream. At just under 5 km, it's ideal for warming up. It's a beautiful trail that always follows the river. Surefootedness is a must. Over hill and dale and over fallen trees, it's a relaxed walk along the river and back.

Rock breakthrough from the Second World War invite you to look at it. 👍🏽

The Bavarian Forest is always beautiful 🐕🥰 Today we ran on the torrent 😁 The first part of the route to the suspension bridge is rooted and stony 😉 Sturdy shoes and surefootedness are a prerequisite 😉 After that there is a beautiful forest floor with water points for the fur noses 🐕. Of course, start running early again (around …

The hike started on 🥾-🅿️ in Ringelai. We followed the 🥾-Weg 1️⃣ Buchberger Leite along the river, which we crossed over a bridge and followed upstream again. We also looked at the Neuenbuchberg castle ruins, but hardly anything remained of it, so that a visit was not really worth it. Only a small piece of wall and a notice board …
