Very nice levada tour above the village of Canical with wonderful views of the Sao Lorenzo headland. The levada itself is relatively unspectacular, but the viewpoints are really great 😊
Very easy to walk tour, but I recommend sturdy shoes.

We started near Machico, where we hiked along the Levada do Caniçal. The path led through green slopes, accompanied by the sound of water and wide views over the deep blue sea. Below us lay the small fishing village of Caniçal and in the distance shone the easternmost cape Ponta de São Lourenço.
