The whole descent is extremely hard on the legs. The first part is for experienced hikers. Exposed climbing sections, over snow, over the glacier, there is everything. Poles are recommended. Then it's just down down down down to Selden where there is a refreshment stop. Then take the hiking bus through the Gasterntal to Kandersteg train station.
