Maison Henri IV

Highlight • Historical Site

A Norman house in ember wood dating from the Renaissance. Its first owner was Guillaume Ladiré, a wealthy owner from Saint-Valery-en-Caux. We can appreciate carved wooden effigies that represent exotic scenes inspired by trips to the New World. But following Henri de Navarre's stay in 1593, the house was renamed. Today, this residence which survived the bombings of the Second World War houses the Tourist Office and the Local History Museum. Maison Henri IV is open from Wednesday to Sunday and admission is € 2.

Port of Saint-Valéry-en-Caux

Highlight • Settlement

With a fishing and coastal shipping port, Saint-Valérie is a busy seaside resort. The well-sheltered harbor extends inland through a fairway. There is a dike promenade along the elongated pebble beach. (Michelin)

Château de Mesnil Geoffroy

Highlight • Castle

It is rare to be able to visit a castle classified as a historic monument where the princely family still lives in all the rooms, bedrooms and lounges and where you can share the furniture and objects that have seen so many centuries and personalities pass!
Surrounded by a 10ha French-style park, designed by Collinot, gardener from Le Nôtre, the estate is famous for its private rose garden, the most important in Normandy with its 2,900 roses and 2,000 different varieties all labeled. Collection garden of Normandy in 2016. Since 2015: A romantic flowered vegetable garden brings together varieties of ancient vegetables, labeled and commented on. Elected at the end of 2017 as the most beautiful vegetable garden in France by the SNHF (National Horticultural Society of France). In May: a collection iris grove, double the Jardin des Plantes in Rouen, perfumes the massifs. Aviaries of exotic birds and collector's hens enchant part of the garden and… young visitors!
