A mega climb or an awesome descent! This road isn't the smoothest and quite muddy so take care, especially if descending as there are some tight corners at the bottom.

Reasonable way down off Maes Knoll. Think I came down here with 32mm tyres and, while I had basically no control, it was an absolute blast.

December 11, 2023,Maes Knoll – Church of Holy Trinity loop from Norton Malreward (intermediate, baby carrier)
A lovely intermediate hike with a lot of animals and farm equipment spotting, perfect to entertain the toddlers.

There is a steep hill to climb but worth the views over the Chew Valley and lake once you get there and also view over Bristol.
Amazing views as well on top of the Maes Knoll Tump (Iron age hill fort).
