Mühlbach Valley

Highlight (Segment) • Natural

A mountain bike route leads through the Mühlbachtal from Bramberg towards Baumgartenalm. It's usually nice and shady here and pleasantly cool even on hot days. The subsoil consists of compacted gravel. It's also fun with the gravel bike!

The Mühlbachtal rises comparatively gently and only opens again shortly before the Baumgartenalm. The path is wide and gravel and runs almost directly along the stream. For hikers or cyclists …

Geisl Hochalm

Highlight • Mountain Hut

A brilliant Alm to stop off. Great view of the slopes and the surrounding mountains and best of all with a non-alcoholic wheat beer and a really good Wiener Schnitzel.
Great staff super friendly and informal ;)

Large hut directly under the cable car. It's a pretty easy hike from the cable car station to here to enjoy the view and some food and drinks.

New record: 1 hour 28 mins from Bramberg to the Wildkogel and via the winter toboggan run (14km), so also suitable for bikes in summer, back to Bramberg!!!!

Today only a morning tour on the Wildkogel. Arrive at noon, so a bit stressed. Departure from Bramberg at 8.15 am on the toboggan, back via the Rettenstein side and that in 2.35 hours. I think that's a new record, but it was amazing
