On around 10 kilometers we experience small regional stories of the area. Southwest of Ganderkesee we are on our way in the Stührer Forest and the Welsburger Holz.

Here we find traces of old robber barons. A stone and a plaque are still reminiscent of the Welsburg. There is nothing left of the castle or the robber barons today.
