The route was great up to the halfway point (river crossing). The river crossing was about 50cm deep. The area had recently been flooded by a flash flood. At one point, the trail crosses two private properties with barriers! The last 3km also cross a completely washed-away section.

I would only recommend this route in dry weather.

Nice fun trail...but in this period.. very slippery and lots of mud...but it's fun!!...thanks!!

The riverbed and the mountains we walked over were the highlights!

It's a diverse and absolutely stunning area. There are also views of Mount Etna from many spots.

However, the trash that sometimes litters the landscape is also very disturbing!

Nice bathing spot right at the start. River crossing bad idea, off road over VERY massive and long

This easy hike corresponds to i iM Rother hiking guide No.10. It's only a few. elevation gain. I was here mid May. The river was well filled with water and the current strong.
