Remains of SS Richard Montgomery, an American Liberty cargo ship built during World War II. Wrecked in August 1944, while carrying a cargo of munitions. Monitored by the Maritime and Coastal Agency due to the explosives remaining on board.

Do note that the river is quite muddy during the winter. I would say more of a summer route. that been said, its very beautiful.
