First of all, I couldn't find a parking space except in the deepest mud - great start! Then I parked in the mud because there was simply no other place. The landscape was white and foggy, but somehow beautiful too. I noticed that there was basalt under the snow, but it wasn't a classic volcano. Oh well, up anyway!
