After the first snowstorm of the winter and a partly very frosty night with temperatures reaching -20°C, a slightly easier route was chosen.

The Baumgartenschneid is perfect for such tours and can be adapted to individual needs. Lightly dusted with snow and without drifts, crampons and poles are sufficient. Snowshoes can remain in storage for the summer.
