Heather blossom - that was what we had been thinking about for many days. Then we came across it by chance: Terra Track in Merzen.
We were a little disappointed. First, we walked for 4 kilometers on grass and asphalt paths past endless corn fields.
Although - the actual heathland is very small, but very beautiful.

We drove to the Osnabrück region to hike on one of the beautiful TERRA.tracks. We chose the "TERRA.track Wacholderhain" because we wanted to see what a heath area outside the Lüneburg Heath looks like. But more on the Wacholderhain later. We extended the planned route because the path was too short for us.
