The Fählensee is the third largest mountain lake in the canton of Appenzell and is located in a very narrow valley between the Bollenwees mountain inn and the Zwingli Pass, embedded between the Hundsteingrat and Roslen-Saxer-First. Just beautiful. Highly recommended!

A relaxing bike ride (also suitable for non-e-bikers) with beautiful views and, if you like, opportunities to stop for refreshments. The elevation gain (approx. 200m) is quite limited over this distance. Enjoy your ride.
