The train connects the terminal with the airport station. Fully automatic, a bit bumpy, but comfortable. Just don't head for an intermediate destination that you then have to reach on foot.

In 2002 the SkyTrain was opened at Düsseldorf Airport. In the first few years, problems with the control repeatedly caused long downtimes with buses as replacement transport. The SkyTrain now commutes reliably over a distance of 2.5 km between the airport terminals, multi-storey car parks and the airport long-distance train station.
