Today's tour took us to the other side of the Rhine to Dormagen. We visited the Geopark for the first time. Many boulders and pieces of rock from earth's history can be seen there. Today's tour first took my wife and me to Lake Stöckenberg. From there we went to Lake Monbag. Here we found a very nice viewpoint of the lake, which had always eluded me. From Gut Blee we then followed the Rhine to Baumberg.

The main goal of our tour today was the “Rhein Imbiss 701”. There are incredibly tasty cheeseburgers here. If you happen to be in the area, I can only recommend a visit. I actually wanted to take a photo of the burgers, but we were so hungry when the "things" arrived that I simply forgot...

After a few weeks of break, today we finally had time for a family get-together again.

The Groom Oak is an oak tree near the Dodau forester's lodge in the Dodauer Forest near Eutin in Schleswig-Holstein. For a long time, it was the only tree in the world with its own postal address and brings people wishing to marry into contact via a dead letterbox in a knothole.

Finally a wonderful summer day 🙂🙂🙂. While my family was having a bathing day at Lake Selenter, I did this beautiful lap. I particularly liked a section along the salt marshes, below the small lake. This section is technically very demanding in places, but offers wonderful views of untouched nature.

Accompanied by various rain showers, we went today via Panker to the ostrich farm in Hohenfelde. From there along the coast to the beach lake landscape at Schmoel. Since my family wanted to see the straw figures from yesterday's tour live and in color, I put them in this tour again.
