The museum offers a good insight into soldiers' lives during World War I. Using an augmented reality helmet, visitors can travel through the underground citadel. Admission is €16 per person (as of October 2025). However, for background information, it is recommended to visit the Verdun Memorial beforehand.

Nice gravel where you can enjoy the water on both sides. Know that it can be quite busy here. Enjoy at your own pace. On one side you look out over the flood plain and the meanders of the Maas and on the other you simply follow the straightness of the Maas Canal.

On this segment you can enjoy waterfronts on both sides. One side is the meandering Maas and the other waterfront is the Maas canal. You are actually cycling between two water streams.
