Beautifully situated at Foxycamp campsite. The campsite is simple but wonderfully peaceful (we were there in early September) and run by very friendly owners. Virtually no mobile phone reception also ensures peace and quiet.

Next to the silhouette of the German soldier is the letter he wrote to his mother and sisters during the First World War. It offers insight into how soldiers lived and how their lives were organized during this troubled time.

From here you could enjoy the lake and its surroundings .

The wooden structure, located on the D131 road between the villages of Haumont-Lès-Lahaussee and Lahaussee, offers a breathtaking view of the water and the Domaine du Vieux Moulin. The observatory is accessible to people with disabilities. From here you can observe the many birds that live or stop in this wetland, such as herons, grebes, ducks and cranes.
