Beautiful half-timbered house

The Bruges Prehistoric Museum was founded in 2008 by the current museum director, Dr. Gerald Kopp (*1948), geologist and cryptozoologist, are scientists who study mythical creatures, i.e. those from eyewitness reports, folklore and mythology. Various such exhibits are also shown here.

The 'Gateway to Prehistoric Times' museum imparts knowledge about the history of the earth and life, with a focus on Schleswig-Holstein. Admission €7 (€3 reduced), always open on Saturdays and Sundays, on weekdays on request for groups.

The cobblestone granite bridge from 1803 is now a listed building.

The "Blue Bridge" is the oldest known iron structure in Bodesholmer Land. The Eider Bridge was built in 1865 on behalf of the Itzehoer Kloster and the Bordesholm Office. It owes its current name to the paint job in 1992.
