The two-storey building made of quarry slate was built in 1906 and its prominent central section reflects the self-confidence of the bourgeoisie at the beginning of the 20th century. The city coat of arms of Saarburg is located in the arched portal. A carillon from the Mabilon bell foundry rings every half and full hour. The old town hall also houses the tourist information office, where you can get detailed information about Saarburg and the Saar-Obermosel region.
