I initially tried staying at Refuge Tighiettu but they told me there were no more spare tents for hire so walked to Bergerie de Ballone instead and I'm so glad I did! I hired a tent and it came with an actual mini mattress and I slept really well. I had the best dinner on the trail and the staff were super super friendly. Also, HOT SHOWER! Great experience overall.

In the graceful Golo valley, which looks almost Japanese due to the large, isolated trees, you will find many beautiful bathing pools by the stream.

At the Bergerie de Radule you can have a good breakfast: coffee, chocolate cake, Corsican omelet (with cheese in it). Here, too, we noticed: Corsicans are often unfriendly, at least grumpy.

Tricky in the wet, balancing over the stone blocks and granite slabs is fun in dry conditions. The path is well marked with lots of yellow lines on the rocks and trees and cairns, but it is almost easier to find on the descent than on the ascent

Close to the eponymous waterfall, the sheepfold is located on an exceptional site. If it is not possible to sleep there, it remains a very pleasant resting place.
