올해로 800주기 기일을 맞는 아씨시의 성 프란치스코는 (...). 포베렐로는 우리에게 예수님께 시선을 고정하라고 격려합니다: "우리 모두 형제들은 자신의 양들을 구하기 위해 십자가의 고통을 겪으신 선한 목자에게 주의를 기울입시다" (Erm VI). 그러므로 이 십자가의 길에서 성 프란치스코의 초대를 받아들이고, 단순히 의식적으로나 지적으로가 아니라 우리의 온 존재와 온 삶으로 예수님의 발자취를 따릅시다: "몸으로 자신을 바치고 그의 거룩한 십자가를 지고 그의 가장 거룩한 계명을 끝까지 따르라" (Off XV 13). Santa-Maria-Poggio is a charming village in the Corsican foothills. At the foot of the mountains, it offers magnificent views of the coast.

Embark on an adventure on this 4.2km out and back trail near Cervione, Haute-Corse. The route is generally rated as moderate and can be completed in most areas in 2h 7m. This is a popular trail for birdwatching and walking, but you can also enjoy some solitude at quieter times of the day. The best time to go is March to November. Dogs are welcome and can be let off-leash in some areas.

Cervione, situated at over 300 m above sea level on the slopes of Monte Castello with great views, is a large and very lively place. There is always something going on, especially on the main road (Traversa) with its cafes and a few small shops. If you sit in front of one of the bars, you can see paragliders taking off from the Chapel of the Madonna and flying down into the plain when the weather is good. A short hike leads up to the striking viewpoint with the cross (632 m). It takes 1.5 hours there and back from the village center. A circular hike is also possible. Both are described in the hiking section. The view of the plain, the village of Cervione and the islands of Elba and Monte Cristo is beautiful!
