A beautiful adventure forest with lots of things to discover. There are even quizzes for children.

The church's patron saint suggests its great age. It was first mentioned in 1330 in the Taxa generalis of the Archdiocese of Trier. The Romanesque west tower dates to the beginning of the 13th century. The core of the nave, which still stands today, was built around 1470. Around 1728, the choir was enlarged, and a sacristy was added to the south side of the east bay of the nave. Along with other minor alterations over time, the expansion between 1904 and 1906 was the most significant. Under the direction of the Bonn architect Johann Adam Rüppel, the northern aisle was renovated and a southern aisle was added. This created the current four-aisled hall church. In 1919, the western gallery was built from tuff stone in neo-Gothic style.

Beautiful nature adventure trail for children and adults. At nine varied information stations, visitors learn interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the former Steinrausch volcano. There is also a nice lounger to relax on.

The second stage ends at Steinrausch, an almost 2 km long nature trail, and the third stage of the Eifel ladder begins. The nature trail is designed for children, but is also interesting for adults.

This nice little circular route is particularly exciting for children, but adults can also learn something here! Everyone is sure to have fun at Steinrausch, a former volcano. A really well laid out forest for young and old. If you walk the path in the right direction (of course we went the other way around) you can guess fairy tales. You also learn a lot about trees, the forest or even how to measure distances in steps. So if you are in the area and have some time to spare, you should definitely stop by here.
