northernmost bridge finished, middle one still under construction, southernmost bridge itself ready but access routes still under construction (no wooden decks anywhere anymore though), just keep following the signs in case the map isn’t quite up to date

The magnificent castle of the high-ranking clergy in Kuusisto was a model of everyday luxury in the period in question and featured modern amenities from abroad. In the Middle Ages, the Bishop's Palace was not only the center of spiritual life in Catholic Finland, but also the focus of political power. The history of the castle ended when King Gustav Vasa ordered the demolition of the bishop's residence after the Reformation. Only ruins remained of the former splendor.

Currently a major construction site. The aim of the Kirjalansalmi and Hessundinsalmi bridge renovation project is to better secure the preservation of the only road connection to Parais and the Turku archipelago. The cost estimate for the entire project is 128 million euros.

all three bridges are currently being rebuilt, temporary routes in many places also for the bike path but all pretty good, just watch out for the odd sharp turn and loose gravel, plus the coated plywood deck at the Hessund temporary bridge/ramp can probably be slippery when wet as well
