the eastern end (Sarvvikin puistotie) is currently a bit of a mess due to district heating works (signposted mystery detour for bikes but just stay on the roadway where it is two lanes and on the bike path where the roadway turns into a single bidirectional lane with traffic lights), just west of there (Finnträskinreuna) it looks like they are turning the narrow access road into a wider street, currently just a lot of trees felled but will probably be another construction site as well

For me, it's a very nice place because it's on an island in the middle of a beautiful lake. There are a few fire pits on the island. The Holma-Saarijärvi campsite is right next to the island. The strech from Masala intersection all the way to Heikkilä has now beautiful new asphalt!

good to okay bike paths and a bit of side road with no traffic, no point in following the Eurovelo signage here (unnecessary detour via Masala), west of Kirkkonummi I prefer Kuninkaantie though...

not exactly the most pleasant of roads but how else are you are going to get from Brobackantie to Eerikinkartanontie or other places beyond Veikkola (indeed you could even continue all the way to Turku if you can take the boredom and noise pollution)... somewhat busy, asphalt has plenty of cracks and riding on the shoulder can’t be recommended (cracks there too, plus debris and random piles of dirt, and in some places it just disappears altogether)

A great campsite on the island. Those who prefer a shelter instead of a tent as a place to stay should use the little Laavu on the mainland near the wooden bridge.
