The Boitaca Bridge began to be built in 1862, during the reign of King Luís I, as attested by the inscription on a tombstone placed there. Its name derives from the former owner of the land, the French master Diogo Boitaca or Boytac. Crossing a branch of the River Lena, which runs through the parish of Batalhão, it was part of an old royal route that connected Lisbon to Porto. The bridge, in revivalist and neo-Gothic style and tinged with yellow, is defined by a flat deck over six pointed arches, surrounded by buttresses, on which rise pinnacles. Between these elements, and contributing even more to the Gothic air of the monument, is the stone fence with quatrefoils.

The Sheep's Sink is an imposing natural cavity, named after the sink carved under a stalactite that, in the rainy months, pours out abundant water. In the past, this natural refuge served as a drinking trough for cattle.

Legend has it that the bears that once inhabited the Iberian Peninsula would drink water from the sinks that were naturally formed from the rock, which are still visible today. Today, the village of Pia do Urso, in the municipality of Batalha, is a popular spot for nature lovers and outdoor hikers. In this Sensory Ecopark, which is adapted for the visually impaired, you can have picnics, hike and discover some of the region's stories.

On the southwest hillside of Cabeço Gordo, almost coinciding with the administrative boundaries between Porto de Mos municipalities and Alcobaça, the Memory Arc it was built, probably in the late sixteenth and early seventeenth century and was restored in 1830, by King Miguel, as shown in one of its inscriptions. The bow, perfectly round, has only two inscriptions, one in Latin almost imperceptible, due to stone erosion, registered in 1758 and composed by Friar Bernardo de Brito, in the beginning of the seventeenth century at the behest of Alcobaça Monastery Abbot. According to tradition, that History denies, the monument was built by the monks of the Cistercian Order, for marking the land donated by the Portuguese first King Afonso Henriques. However, its construction only intended to give material evidences of the vow of D. Afonso Henriques, invented by Alcobaça chroniclers.

This spot offers a magnificent panorama of the coast and a 360 degree view. On the historical aspect, it was built by the Cistercian monks, it measures 4 meters high and 3.62 meters wide. The arch has no decoration, only two inscriptions: the first, the oldest written in Latin, testifies to its creation. The second inscription refers to the reconstruction of the monument, carried out by D. Michael in 1830.
