The Maasplassen extend over a vast area of approximately 3,000 hectares, consisting of a network of lakes, ponds and canals created by gravel extraction. With clear blue water and surrounded by lush green banks, the Maasplassen offer a beautiful backdrop for all kinds of activities.

Plotted a route of 19 km in this area 14 days ago. It must be beautiful. However, walked around it in 23 km because it is bird breeding area until July 15. Not for nothing, because the first crane was born there, but still quite bummed if you keep bumping into the signs. So keep this limitation in mind!
