The Town Hall of the former municipality of Megen is located in the center of Megen and was designed in 1940 by Helmond architect C. Roffelsen. The traditionalist style of the tall building is based on the nearby Prison Tower, a prime example of local medieval architecture. The town hall is situated within a nationally protected cityscape. Around 1980, extensions were added to the southern and southwestern sides for the new town hall.
