From time to time the municipality spreads new gravel here for maintenance of the road surface. That takes time to break in. At the moment the racer is doing well again. But take into account loose gravel in bends (if you leave the other cycle paths).

Great view over the Utrecht ridge.

Enjoy the view from this lookout tower over the Cape forests, aptly named 'the Cape'. This tower is no less than 25 meters high and offers a beautiful view over the entire Utrechtse Heuvelrug. From this vantage point you can see the Amerongse Berg in the east and even the Domtoren in the center of Utrecht in the west. Did you know that in clear weather you can even see the Rhine in the south?
