The lake landscape near Hävern is a beautiful nature reserve in the natural area of the Wesertal between the districts of Hävern and Großenheerse in the town of Petershagen. The area extends over 104 hectares and is part of the EC bird sanctuary "Weseraue". The former gravel ponds are now biotopes for water birds and offer a picturesque backdrop for walks and exploration.

The Apostelkirche in the Petershagen district of Ovenstädt is the parish church of the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Ovenstädt. It belongs to the Minden church district of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia. There are also separate highlights for the Meierhof Hävern (Hofstelle Hävern No. 1) and for the Hof Holthöfer (Hofstelle Hävern No. 5), formerly Hofcafé Holthöfer / Ferienhof Holthöfer.

The bathing area was used for the first time in the 2009 bathing season. The approximately 6 hectare quarry pond is a body of water and is located northeast of the Glissen district of the municipality of Raddestorf on the left side of the Weser. The depth is 8 m gently sloping. Free parking, lawn, toilets, dogs are prohibited

This collection highlight essentially only shows pictures from the Maninge Hof (Hofstelle Hävern No. 2, later Hävern No. 26) and the Römeringe Hof (Hofstelle Hävern No.7). This is not the old school Hävern! It is located at the northern exit of the town on the road to Großenheerse. Immediately north of the Hävern war memorial and the “rest area with a view”. It is the house with the bell tower roof turret (see separate highlight "Alte Schule Hävern"!).
