In my opinion, this is the preferred route between Thomasburg and Ellringen. It's varied, undulating, and traffic-free. However, due to the not always perfect surface, caution is required.

On the choir side (market) departure of the regular buses to Lüneburg, every hour during the week and every 2 hours at the weekend

... with beautiful waves 😀 ... the road is suboptimal, but that doesn't hurt 😀

The oldest documentary evidence of St. John's Church dates back to 1302. The immediate predecessor of today's building was a brick church with a granite foundation. The current church building was built between 1903 and 1905 according to the design of the architect Wilhelm Matthies from Bardowick. The fieldstone masonry of the previous church was partially integrated into the new building. A nice path for relaxed cycling

The St. Johannis Church in Dahlenburg was rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style between 1903 and 1905 and replaced a previous church from the Middle Ages. From the time of the previous building, however, an important late Gothic carved altar and a late Gothic gallery cabinet have been preserved. Equally important is the ornately designed Renaissance pulpit. The little church in Dahlenburg. When visiting, it is worth visiting the square and taking some pictures. Right next to it you will find the marketplace if you want to buy something locally.

Very nice and quiet route from Thomasburg to Ellringen. A good alternative route to the larger and more frequented country road "Am Neetzetal". On this route, near Thomasburg, there is a small bench that can be used for a rest.
