The mill, as it can be seen today, dates back to the early 18th century. It, like the bakehouse, is located on the mill island. The bakehouse dates back to the 17th century and is still fully functional. Bread is still baked here at least once a year, for the traditional potato festival. The mill's core dates back to 1771. The half-timbered building was expanded in several construction phases, and two stories were added in some parts.
