The St. Johannes Church in Dahlenburg was built in a neo-Gothic style at the beginning of this century. There has been a church on this site for about 750 years. Its valuable altar, carved from oak wood and dating from the 14th/15th century, deserves a special mention. Century.
The 750-year-old Laurentius Chapel, which houses the local history museum, is also worth a visit in Dahlenburg.

The St. Johannis Church in Dahlenburg was rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style between 1903 and 1905 and replaced a previous church from the Middle Ages.
From the time of the previous building, however, an important late Gothic carved altar and a late Gothic gallery cabinet have been preserved. Equally important is the ornately designed Renaissance pulpit. The small church is located in the town center and has a lasting impact on the joint community of Dahlenburg.
