The beginnings of the church's construction date back to the end of the 13th century, when the chancel and transept were built. Around 1300, a three-nave body was built with a tower extending the main nave. The next expansion took place around 1500. At that time, the church gained a beautiful star vault and side naves and a sacristy built from scratch. In 1725, the top of the tower collapsed after being struck by lightning. It was rebuilt from scratch, in a Baroque form. In the 19th century, the church was thoroughly renovated. Many changes were made to its appearance at that time. The tops of the transept and side naves were rebuilt, the structure and roof covering as well as the tower's dome were replaced, the pillars in the interior were rebuilt and neo-Gothic furnishings were made, including an altar and organ. In 1901, Hans Selinger from Berlin decorated the walls and vaults with figurative-ornamental polychrome. In 1925, the tower's spire was replaced with the current, neo-Baroque one. The church survived World War II without damage, which is strange because the city was almost razed to the ground. However, it was devastated. After the war, during the renovation of the church, most of the 19th-century changes were removed, restoring the church's Gothic appearance.

Excellent view of Międzyodrze. Access road is a short section on stones and then uneven asphalt.

Asphalt bicycle path Karwowo - Przecław running through the picturesque areas of Wał Stobniański. Coming from Karwów, it's almost all downhill. You can accelerate nicely. Amazing views of Szczecin, the Bukowa Forest and Międzyodrze along the way. It is worth going there for a walk or a bike ride.

Here, 750 years ago, Cistercian monks began to use the water power of the small stream. Over the course of history and many wars, the mills were repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt. The Salvey mill, which was owned by Geesower LPG and was still in use as a grist and sawmill until 1992, most recently ran using engine power. The solar pioneer Gerd Hampel then bought the mill in 1996 and installed a solar system to generate clean energy. He also set up a museum to preserve the mill as a technical monument of regional historical importance. The penultimate owners took over the mill in 2008 and founded a new association to ensure the mill's continued existence. The mill is now primarily used as an event location.

Parish church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary A Gothic church from the third quarter of the 13th century, built of granite and brick, rebuilt in the 19th and 15th centuries. In 1530, partially destroyed during a city fire, then rebuilt. Partially rebuilt in 1861-1863. The neo-baroque tower's cupola from that time.

The mill itself is certainly charming, and the surrounding countryside is picturesque, BUT the path to the mill is made of the worst kind of surface. I've rarely seen such a cycle-unfriendly path. Very rough... well, they weren't even cobblestones. More like coarse pebbles. I took a few photos of it. Recommendation: Don't go to the mill. The extremely difficult surface isn't worth it.
