A lovely peaceful leg of this route disturbed only by birdsong and the rush of the Avon through the weir on the other side of the lock. Ideal place for a rest stop on one of the benches provided.

The Heart of England arboretum and other woodlands are well maintained as you would expect. Clearly marked footpaths with well placed benches at regular intervals.
