If you visit on the weekend, you have a good chance to chat with the "residents" and learn some interesting facts about the Viking era. On the second-to-last weekend in August, the Battle of Wallsbüll takes place next door. A Viking market with many activities centered around Viking life is held.

A beautiful trail through the forest. It passes by the moor every now and then. In some places, there are many opportunities to spot and observe wildlife. The path is sometimes a narrow singletrack trail, and in other places it widens a bit. A beautiful trail that you simply must experience.
